Vickie Gesellschap heads up the Pensacola, Florida office of the Firm. Vickie brings broad experience and versatility to the firm. In addition to a J.D. from Florida State University, Vickie earned her M.B.A. from The University of Alabama in order to better serve her business clients. She is licensed in both Florida (2001) and Alabama (2007), and has represented clients in a variety of areas over her almost 20 years of practicing law. While her primary focus at Sniffen & Spellman is litigating employment discrimination matters in Title VII, ADA, ADEA, whistleblower and retaliation actions, she has experience in wrongful death, land use, easement, landlord-tenant, contract, complex commercial and class-action cases before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including the Division of Administrative Hearings, the Florida Commission on Human Relations and United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and has represented local school boards in labor relations and FERPA matters.

Upon her move to Huntsville, Alabama in 2006, she began working as in-house counsel for an international environmental services company for whom she drafted policies, procedures and training materials to ensure compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, including, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, ISO 9001:2008 and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Her primary role was in drafting and negotiating all terms and conditions of the contracts entered into by the company. She also managed domestic and international litigation in which the company was involved, and advised in matters of employment law and intellectual property. In 2017, Vickie opened her own firm in Huntsville which served the thriving small business community providing advice in the areas of entity formations, contracts, commercial leases, employment law, litigation, and compliance.
