Mitchell Herring practices in the areas of Labor and Employment, State and Local Government, Immigration, and Civil Rights Litigation. He is a Registered Patent Attorney, and also provides services and advice related to intellectual property.

Mr. Herring’s practice encompasses both representing employers in state and federal courts and administrative tribunals as well as advising employers on compliance with labor and employment law, internal investigations, audits conducted by the Department of Labor and Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and employment-based immigration applications.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Herring was a Senior Attorney at the Florida Department of Management Services. During his time with the State of Florida, Mr. Herring worked extensively with public records and the Sunshine Law, advised and represented the State in matters related to the Florida Retirement System, and drafted contracts for grant administration, procurements, and licensing matters.
