Meet Our Staff
Karen Barger is a Paralegal at Sniffen & Spellman, P.A. Ms. Barger earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Florida State University. Prior to becoming a paralegal, she worked as an Unemployment Compensation adjudicator, and as a Workers’ Compensation claims staff adjuster for the Florida Department of Insurance, Division of Risk Management. In 1994, she attended the National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta, and received her paralegal certificate with an emphasis in Civil Litigation. She received her certified paralegal designation in 1996. Since completing her studies, Karen has worked as a paralegal in the areas of Workers’ Compensation; Social Security Disability; State of Florida Disability Retirement; and VA Disability Retirement.
Kristin Hamlet is the Billing Specialist at Sniffen & Spellman, P.A. She graduated in 2006 from Gulf Coast State College in Panama City with her AA degree. In 2010, Ms. Hamlet became certified in Crime Scene Investigation from Gulf Coast State College. She is a Gulf County native and grew up in Wewahitchka, Florida.
Cara Harp is the Firm Administrator at Sniffen & Spellman, P.A. Prior to joining Sniffen & Spellman, Ms. Harp worked as a Legal Assistant/Office Manager and has over seven years experience in the legal field. Ms. Harp moved from Sebring, Florida to attend Florida State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science cum laude.
Kim Hoffman is a Legal Secretary at Sniffen & Spellman, P.A. She has over 30 years experience in the areas of real estate, probate, estate planning, and corporate law. Ms. Hoffman grew up in South Florida where she enjoys the beaches and boating.
Natalie Jones is a Legal Assistant at Sniffen and Spellman. She is a Tallahassee native and received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Florida State University. Ms. Jones has over 10 years of experience in various Customer Service roles.
Leigh Ann Kiser
Leigh Ann Kiser is a Legal Assistant at Sniffen & Spellman, P.A. with over eight years of experience in the legal field. She is a graduate of Florida State University and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a Minor in Art History. She grew up in Gainesville, Florida but now considers Tallahassee home.
Hannah McKinney is a Paralegal at Sniffen & Spellman, P.A. She is a graduate of Florida State University and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. Ms. McKinney is a native of New York State and moved to Florida to attend Florida State University.
Mary Ann Rodriguez
Mary Ann Rodriguez is a Legal Assistant at Sniffen & Spellman, P.A. Ms. Rodriguez started out as a Legal Assistant in Residential Real Estate and Civil Litigation. Ms. Rodriguez now focuses in the areas of Civil and Commercial Litigation, and assists in all phases of lawsuits, from filing through trial, as well as performing other key tasks. Ms. Rodriguez has more than 30 years experience as a Legal Assistant and has worked at several large firms in Miami and West Palm Beach.
Lindsey Schnetzler is a Legal Assistant at Sniffen & Spellman, P.A. She has over 5 years of experience in Human Resources. She moved to Tallahassee from DeLand, Florida and graduated in 2014 from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Editing, Writing, and Media.
Brianne is a Legal Assistant at Snifffen and Spellman. She is an 11th generation Pensacolian and a graduate of Gulf Breeze High School. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends either on or off the water, as well as riding bicycles around Pensacola Beach. She’s always up for an adventure.
Trae Wylie is a Paralegal at Sniffen & Spellman. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in 1990, majoring in Political Science. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, he became certified in Law Enforcement from the Florida State University School of Criminology and served as an intern with the Florida Attorney General’s Criminal Appeals Division. Upon graduation, Mr. Wylie attended the National Center For Paralegal Training in Fort Lauderdale, and received his paralegal certification with Honors after completion of The Lawyer’s Assistant Program. He has served as a litigation paralegal since 1991 focusing in the areas of general business litigation, employment discrimination/civil rights, governmental defense and real property acquisition. Mr. Wylie is a Florida Registered Paralegal as recognized by the Florida Bar.
